ECO SCHEME
What is the ECO Scheme?
Support Schemes
What efficiency measures could be installed?
Depending on your eligibility, you could benefit from plenty of energy efficiency measures, such as insulation, solar panels and a new boiler. The scheme is designed to help our most vulnerable customers start their journey to energy efficiency and stay warm over the winter.
Who’s the scheme aimed at?
The ECO Scheme is aimed to support low-income households – reducing fuel poverty and increasing the energy efficiency of homes. We work with homeowners, private landlords and local authorities to carry out a whole house assessment to determine what measures would save you money on your bills.
How do you apply?
You don’t have to be a Utilita customer to benefit from our engineers installing ECO products in your home. If you think you’re eligible, just apply below. After carrying out checks on your benefits and household income to make sure you qualify, as well as carrying out a home survey, we’ll install the products free of charge.

Your local council can expand the eligibility above through Local Authority Eligibility Flexibility (LA Flex). Get in touch to find out if we work with your local authority.
The Energy Efficiency Rating (EPC) rating of your property needs to be D, E, F or G if you’re a homeowner, or E, F or G if you are in social or private rented accommodation. **
If you think you meet these criteria, apply now.
*Qualifying criteria apply for all benefits and will be checked as part of your application. Some benefits are subject to household income threshold criteria.
**If you don’t know the EPC rating of your home – don’t worry. We can determine this when a home survey is carried out.
