If you qualify, you could get free energy-saving upgrades like loft or wall insulation, heating controls, an energy-efficient boiler, or even new solar panels. These improvements can make your home more comfortable and significantly cut your energy bills.
The scheme is designed to support people on a low income or receiving certain benefits. We also work with local councils and landlords to deliver improvements where they’re needed most – whether you own your home or rent it.
It’s simple: check if you’re eligible, book a free home survey, and if you qualify, we’ll take care of the rest. All installations are done by our expert engineers – and there’s nothing for you to pay.
Free home upgrades
Through the ECO scheme, you could get one or more of the following improvements installed free of charge – all designed to cut energy waste, reduce your bills, and keep your home warm.

How to qualify
You don’t need to be a Utilita customer to benefit from the ECO scheme. If you meet the criteria below, we could install energy-saving improvements in your home at no cost.

If you meet all the criteria and your home is confirmed to be eligible after a retrofit assessment, your personalised Home Energy Consultant will give you all the information you need on your new efficiency measures.
