Our Accreditation
The MCS is an independent program that verifies the quality of both renewable energy products and the installers who put them in place. It demonstrates our commitment to offering a high-quality service to our customers.
RECC sets out high consumer protection standards for businesses who are selling or leasing renewable energy generation systems to domestic consumers. RECC is approved by Chartered Trading Standards Institute as part of the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme and is also a TrustMark Scheme Operator.
By displaying the logo, RECC Members like us signal they have agreed to abide by the high standards set out in the Consumer Code, following the consumer journey from start to finish, and in the byelaws. Both the Code and the byelaws link with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) installer standards.
RECC members work with a range of renewable technologies that include Solar PV. They also work with common ‘add-ons’ such as battery storage systems, voltage optimisers and i-boost systems.
Trustmark is the only UK Government-Endorsed Quality Scheme for work carried out in and around the home. They’re passionate about quality and assurance and what that means for homeowners and Registered Businesses. Since they started in 2005, they’ve been working to help drive-up standards across the industry and improve the protection offered to homeowners when having work done.
Solar Energy UK is an established trade association working for and representing the entire solar and energy storage value chain, and we’re a member. They’re funded largely by membership and represent a thriving member-led community of over 400+ businesses and associates, ranging from ambitious and innovative SMEs to global brands. Solar Energy UK is truly member-led, with members subject to a rulebook covering issues such as competition and discretion. The association’s voting structure means that every member has an equal say in key decisions, but it’s overseen by a board of non-executive directors elected from its membership.
